BCV partnered with the Sugar Bowl Corporation to update several primary spaces throughout the main Village Lodge, including the addition of a new midmountain restaurant, Yarrow, and renovations to the Terrace deck, locker rooms, and other core areas. The design reflects a modern California approach, emphasizing seasonal, community-centered experiences that respond to the Village Lodge’s mountain setting and history. All work was undertaken within the constraints of snow country, where some of the highest snow loads in the United States shape architectural decisions.
