Business Development + Communications Manager

BCV is opening a position based in our San Francisco office for an experienced Business Development and Communications Manager to join our team. ​ This individual will lead firm-wide marketing efforts while developing and implementing impactful business development practices. ​ The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful results-driven professional who is comfortable working independently as well as proactively with BCV’s senior leadership. ​ Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a deep, metrics-driven understanding of the firm’s business development strategy, including refining the firm’s prospect assessment process. ​
  • Developing and maintaining firm-wide marketing content and other digital assets.
  • Coordinating with design staff on generating project collateral and project narratives.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to maintain existing client relationships and cultivate the pipeline for new business.
  • Identifying new growth opportunities, initiating targeted outreach, and conducting appropriate, timely follow-through
  • Actively monitoring the marketplace for RFQ/RFP opportunities in alignment with BCV’s core competencies
  • Guiding the pursuit process, including RFQ/RFP responses, pitches, and concept presentations
  • Maintaining BCV’s website and social media platforms
  • Organizing and directing project photo shoots
  • Coordinating PR campaigns and award submissions for select projects
  • Developing special marketing initiatives, including books, white papers, exhibitions, and other publications
  • Regularly representing BCV to clients, and consultants, including at conferences and events

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum five years of related work experience, preferably within the A/E/C industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong editorial and proofreading skills
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent graphic design skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC and Microsoft Office

Salary Range: ​ $70,000-$110,000

 

Job Captain, Residential - SF

BCV is opening positions for a Job Captain with 6 or more years of experience​ to join our firm in San Francisco. ​ The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and versatile designer, capable of supporting jobs from concept studies and presentations through technical execution. ​ Fluency in Revit/AutoCAD and Adobe CC is required, experience with residential projects is required and an interest in hospitality design is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited college/university
  • 6 or more years of professional experience
  • Experience with full-scope residential design and documentation
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe CC is required
  • SketchUp or other modeling/rendering experience preferred

Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000

 

Intermediate Architectural Designer - NY

BCV is opening a position for an​ Intermediate Architectural Designer with an interest in Architecture or Interior Architecture with 3-6 years of experience​ to join our firm in New York City or San Francisco. ​ The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and versatile designer, capable of supporting jobs from concept studies and presentations through technical execution. ​ Fluency in Revit/AutoCAD and Adobe CC is required, experience with hospitality and/or residential projects is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited college/university
  • 3-6 years of professional experience
  • Experience with restaurant/hospitality and/or residential projects a plus
  • Experience creating millwork/custom furniture drawings and specifications
  • Experience researching, presenting, and specifying FF&E
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe CC is required
  • SketchUp or other modeling/rendering experience is highly preferred
