Executive Assistant to Principals - San Francisco
BCV is seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our Principals and office. This position requires a result-oriented professional with a proactive work ethic and naturally meticulous organizational skills. The Executive Assistant is the executives’ “gatekeeper” and “right arm”, handling a multitude of high level administrative tasks, while prioritizing and executing executive projects. The position requires a dynamic, energetic, mature-minded and quick witted individual who thrives in a team-based environment and will take ownership of responsibilities and anticipate needs.
Essential Duties
- Assist with client relations [“filter” incoming calls, schedule and coordinate meetings/social gatherings, follow-up as was discussed as necessary]
- Answer, screen, and respond to incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
- Correspondence (letters, transmittals, emails)
- Expense reports (monthly)
- Travel arrangements including preparation of itineraries and travel packets [including for team if team travels with principal]
- Manage schedules and maintain Outlook calendars, including conference attendance coordination
- Provide administrative support in preparation and planning for Shareholder meetings and retreats [planning, scheduling, coordinating, set up and break down]
- Coordinate and schedule all Management and Finance meetings including set-up of conference call, and preparation of technology and meeting room for communication by ZOOM with Controller.
- Provide administrative support in preparation and planning for partner’s associations / meetings / gatherings outside BCV [correspondence, planning, scheduling, coordinating of trips / meetings / events]
- Handling of communication with Controller [i.e. scanning and emailing of checks, invoices, receipts, signature collection for checks, mailing of checks, printing of documents in preparation of weekly meetings, shipping of documents as is necessary, etc.]
- Assist Principals with timesheets [semi-monthly]
- Assist Principals with tracking/earning/reporting continuing education units and licensure renewals.
- Contacts database management
- Schedule in-house (not project) meetings with principals involved, including reserving conference rooms, confirming attendees, communicating refreshments needs, setting up and breaking down
- Maintain office wide calendar.
- Preparation for meetings and presentations including research, PowerPoint, copying, and agendas [gathering materials, printing of agenda]
- Administrator of Docusign and ZOOM accounts
- Provide project assistance as needed
- Able to undertake miscellaneous reasonable personal errands and tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Receptionist/front desk including answering phones, shipping and receiving, mail sorting and distribution, and conference room calendar scheduling
- General Office duties include upkeep and tidiness of the office, helping maintain conference room and workroom cleanliness, making coffee and keeping kitchens clean, ordering of pantry items and office refreshments.
Qualifications
- 4 year college degree required
- Office experience desirable
- Stable work history required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite desirable

Project Manager - Hospitality
BCV is looking for a professional, thoughtful and self-motivated individual with strong design, technical detailing and coordination skills who is able to assume the role of a Project Manager for hospitality projects. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with strengths in early, presentation work, along with experience in leading construction document production. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit is a must. 3D Max and Adobe CC is preferred
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited college/university
- 10+ years architectural office experience with a focus on hospitality projects such as restaurants, food retail and public markets
- Professional licensure and LEED® certification, or demonstrated path towards completion
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit and Adobe CC

Intermediate Architectural Designer - San Francisco
BCV is opening positions for an Architectural Designer with 3-6 years of experience to join our firm in San Francisco. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and versatile designer, capable of supporting jobs from concept studies and presentations through technical execution. Fluency in Revit/AutoCAD and Adobe CC is required, experience with residential projects is highly preferred, and an interest in hospitality design is a plus.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited college/university
- 3-6 years of professional experience
- Experience with building codes, DOB filing, and local practice preferred
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
