BERLIN market hall
Berlin, Germany
This concept for a Berlin Street Food structure focuses not only on the adaptable individual food stall, but also on the place-making potential of the collective market hall. Each stall module is centered around a literal core that offers utility services to tenants below, as well as providing structural support for the platform above. This platform, open to the public and accessible from the adjacent building, offers a unique view of Alexanderplatz while enriching the existing hardscape with much needed green space.
