SF Eats
San Francisco International Airport
SF Eats celebrates San Francisco's renowned food culture within SFO's Harvey Milk Terminal 1. BCV worked with Paradies Lagardère to bring together five acclaimed Bay Area brands, including Tony's Pizza Napoletana, Napa Farms Market, Kitava Kitchen, Kona's by Pacific Cocktail Haven, and Equator Coffees, creating a communal food hall that captures the spirit of the city's neighborhood dining scene for travelers.
The design establishes a cohesive identity for the hall while giving each vendor a distinct presence. Warm oak millwork, honed stone counters and crafted metal detailing create a refined material palette that references the textures of San Francisco's best market halls. Individual storefronts are scaled and detailed to read as independent neighborhood shops rather than terminal concessions, with layered lighting and varied counter heights lending warmth and intimacy to each encounter.
Shared seating areas between the vendors encourage the communal, unhurried quality of the city's food hall tradition, offering travelers a genuinely San Francisco experience before their flight.
