ELiTE CAFE

San Francisco, California

Located in the heart of San Francisco’s Fillmore district, Elite Café has long been a vibrant destination for New Orleans-inspired food and creative cocktails. After purchasing the 35-year old restaurant in early 2016, Sidecar Hospitality engaged BCV Architects to refresh and update the 92-seat space while maintaining elements of the restaurant’s history and character. BCV added a marble bar and table tops, black and white tile floor, and art deco-inspired pendants around the 20-foot-high room. Behind the bar, San Francisco icons like Willie Brown, Harvey Milk and Willie Mays watch over restaurant patrons.
