BCV Architecture + Interiors was the Design Architect for the renovation of the iconic CanoeHouse, Mauna Lani Resort’s signature restaurant. ​ The unique property, featuring heavy timber construction, three-sided foldaway openings, an expansive patio and a prized water view, was fully updated with a central bar, a range of intimate dining spaces, and thoughtful décor to evoke the personal collections and famous hospitality of legendary Hawai’I native Francis I’I Brown. ​ At the exterior, a multitude of new seating areas with distinct personalities all take full advantage of the breathtaking view and trade winds.
