BCV designed an airy, modern food hall within the existing Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto. The design of "The Farm," a reference to the history of nearby Stanford University, provides for multiple cooking vendors, specialty food, café and quick-serve tenants within a 27,000 SF central hall, awash in natural light from the sawtooth light monitors above.

Above the central hall, an 18,300 SF mezzanine creates space for public activation, with a focus on culinary education, and includes private dining areas and a cooking school. A roof deck and bar look out onto one of Stanford Center’s visitor thoroughfares below.
