HuDson eats

New York, New York

Located within Brookfield Place in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district, the 30,000 sq. ft. Hudson Eats celebrates the unique offerings of the Empire State’s foodshed against the stunning backdrop of the Hudson River. BCV and AvroKO collaborated on the design of a modern food hall, which features the creations of 14 of the city’s leading artisan food purveyors. Hudson Eats is an interpretation of the classic New York Market Hall, including the Washington Market, which once stood near the site and served lower Manhattan.

The interior is defined by handmade tile walls, steel portals, marble and wood tables, and custom designed seating and lighting, creating an elegant and functional dining atmosphere. The guiding principles of craft, refinement and quality set the tone for the artisan purveyors, who have designed their own stalls to fit into their spaces within the market - a process choreographed by BCV and AvroKO.
