Neil Hoyt joined BCV Architecture + Interiors in 2013, and he has since played an integral role in the design and management of various commercial, residential, and planning projects. In 2015, Neil opened BCV’s New York office, its first remote location, where he is currently the Studio Director. There, he oversees operations for a growing team while developing a diverse array of projects throughout the country.

From city-scale developments to interior renovations, Neil is driven by all types of design challenges. He has helped to develop prominent retail and entertainment master plans in Los Angeles and Toronto, a new urban hotel in Santa Cruz, a dynamic food market in South Dakota, and hand-crafted custom homes in Costa Rica. Across every different project, Neil’s commitment to the client and passion for place remainthe same. He is an adept communicator, an engaging collaborator, and a strong believer in the timeless beauty of traditional design principles.

Neil holds degrees in architecture and urbanism from the University of Notre Dame, where he also served as Professor of the Practice prior to joining BCV. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional and a member of the USGBC.
