Marketing & Business Development Manager

BCV seeks an experienced marketing professional to join its San Francisco studio. This individual will lead marketing efforts firm-wide and develop and implement impactful business development processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful problem solver and is comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with BCV’s principals and senior staff leadership. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with principals and senior staff to maintain existing client relationships
  • Conducting market research to identify new growth opportunities
  • Guiding the pursuit process and leading content development, including development of RFQ/RFP responses, pitches and concept presentations
  • Attendance at targeted conferences and events
  • Developing and maintaining firm-wide marketing content
  • Maintaining an active presence on BCV website and across social media platforms
  • Coordinating with design staff on new project narratives and marketing content
  • Liaising with clients on project PR campaigns; leading PR campaigns for select project areas
  • Organizing and directing project photoshoots
  • Leading the award submission process
  • Developing targeted marketing initiatives, including books and white papers

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ experience, preferably within the A/E/C industry
  • Understanding of typical A/E/C office systems, structure and project management
  • Excellent communication, writing and graphic design skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

BCV Architecture + Interiors is opening a position for an Architectural Designer with 2-5 years of experience to help build a dynamic new studio in New York City. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer and enterprising professional - someone who is ready to collaborate on a wide variety of work and is eager for the opportunities of an emerging office. An interest in food, hospitality and retail design is important. Good taste in music is a plus.

This position is full time and offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, a 401k and profit-sharing plan, and incentives to gain professional licensure and LEED® certification.

BCV Architecture + Interiors is looking for a professional, thoughtful and self-motivated individual with strong design, technical detailing and coordination skills to join our San Francisco office as a Job Captain. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with strengths in early presentation work for projects, and excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture from accredited college/university
  • 5+ years of previous architectural office experience
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in hospitality and lifestyle-oriented projects (restaurants, market/food halls, single-family residences, hotels)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
  • Professional licensure and LEED® certification, or demonstrated path towards completion
