The design of the home celebrates the scale of the surrounding forest and terrain while maintaining privacy from adjacent properties. With its board-formed concrete base and elegant mix of glass, light wood and structural truss members above, the home addresses the challenging winter alpine conditions found in the Sierra while creating a modern, all-seasons destination for our client.
