Founded by Steve and Kathleen Holm, Yoga Flow is a San Francisco-based studio with existing locations in Ingleside and the Marina. BCV worked with the Holms to design the studio’s newest location, on 24th Street in the heart of Noe Valley.

The 24th street studio occupies a 2,400 sq. ft. ground floor space that was formerly an electronics store, and one of the challenges was to create an airy, serene environment that embraced its narrow profile and balanced retail, studio and changing areas. BCV employed natural materials throughout and created recessed lighting in the studio to create an ambient experience during classes. The addition of a drop ceiling creates an intimate “tree-house” feel to the interior, while elegant display shelving provides a clean backdrop for the addition of apparel and other product at the studio’s entry. ​
