One of Napa Valley's most renowned wineries, Cakebread Cellars is known for its world-class setting, wines, culinary events and hospitality experience. BCV has worked with the Cakebread family on several projects at its Rutherford winery, including expansions to its hospitality program and the integration of new production space, public outdoor areas and a state-of-the-art wine lab.


BCV worked with Sidecar Hospitality on the revitalization of Schroeder's, one of the oldest restaurants in San Francisco. New furniture and flooring, dramatic beer hall lighting, and 'stein lockers' for regular patrons complements carefully preserved elements like the original rosewood bar and Hermann Richter murals lining the walls.


By breaking the mold in fast-casual dining, the award-winning Hudson Eats has played a major role in lower Manhattan’s rapidly growing food scene. A curated mix of creative food vendors and an elegant overarching design, with the Hudson River as its backdrop, distinguish the dining terrace as a unique culinary destination for the city.


A longtime Bay Area resident, restaurateur and tv personality Martin Yan has often spoken of having two homes - one deeply rooted in China and the other in San Francisco. In designing M.Y. China, Yan’s signature restaurant in downtown San Francisco, BCV took inspiration from Yan’s larger-than-life personality, his culinary experiences in the US and China, and a love of entertaining.
