BCV worked with Tastes on the Fly to bring a second Napa Farms Market location to SFO, leveraging the “Farm to Flight” concept for the new International Terminal iteration. The iconic central Equator Coffee island at the project entry, custom floor fixtures featuring local artisan foods, striking “on the fly” wall and fresh foods prepared by Bay Area chefs are all part of the new marketplace. The original aspiration to celebrate “slow” food for busy travelers through the simple juxtaposition of complementary materials – warm against cool, dark against light, rough against honed and solid against void – is reprised in this design.
