Neil joined BCV Architects in 2013, and currently serves as Studio Director overseeing operations of the firm's New York office. He has played an integral role in the design and management of a range of commercial, planning, residential and hospitality projects. Recently completed work includes the design of multiple residences within the Las Catalinas community in Costa Rica, as well as the interior refresh of a prominent Brooklyn food hall. Neil has worked on the retail plan for Hollywood Park, a large mixed-use development in Inglewood, California; the master plan for the Woodbine racetrack development in Toronto; and has designed and managed several major retail projects, including Spectrum Center in Irvine, California.
Mr. Hoyt is a strong communicator and engaging collaborator, who delights in creating designs that are both refreshingly new and soundly familiar. He holds architecture and urbanism degrees from the University of Notre Dame, where he also served as Professor of the Practice before joining BCV. He has also worked professionally in Chicago and London, where he has helped design custom residential and academic projects.
