Julia Pellegrini is an Associate at BCV. She joined the firm in 2004 and brings a distinct vision and attention to detail to all her projects. She contributes as a skilled designer and manager of unique, contextually appropriate projects and her passion for the built environment has led her to pursue a broad range of building types including hospitality, adaptive reuse and commercial. Ms. Pellegrini earned her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame in 2001, where she received the Alpha Rho Chi Award for exceptional leadership.
At BCV, Ms. Pellegrini’s interest in thoughtful, timeless design has led to her involvement in the Marin Country Mart, SF Uncork’d Wine Bar, Gott’s Roadside Palo Alto, Presidio Design Studies, Ranch House, Orchard Hills Club in Southern California and The Cannery renovation in San Francisco, among others. She values the relationships she fosters with clients and has a characteristic style of blending analytical thinking and creative abilities to solve constraints with fresh solutions.
Ms. Pellegrini has been instrumental in focusing BCV on issues of sustainability. In addition to being a LEED-accredited professional, she spearheaded the effort for the Cannery’s and Marin Country Mart’s LEED-Gold Pre-certification. Her Bryant Park Plaza project achieved LEED-Gold Certification.
Prior to coming to BCV, she was a Design Manager at SB Architects in San Francisco, California where she was responsible for resort, residential and multi-family projects. She worked around the globe in locations such as Punta Mita, West Caicos and Dubai.
