Colin Alley, AIA, is a Senior Associate with BCV Architects and serves as the firm's Director of Operations. He joined BCV in April 1999. While at BCV, Mr. Alley has been instrumental in fostering the firm’s urban design presence, managing projects ranging in scope from Specific Plans to large-scale mixed-use commercial developments. Mr. Alley enjoys the establishment of a rapport with clients and believes that this collaborative approach leads to the most successful projects.

At BCV, Mr. Alley has been responsible for managing several projects focused on the creation of guidelines that catalyze development, while steering design direction. Examples include The Plaza Escuela Special Study for the City of Walnut Creek, CA, The Paseo Colorado Retail Tenant Criteria Manual/Design Guidelines for Trizec Hahn Properties in Pasadena, CA, and Precise Plan studies for both San Ramon, CA and Walnut Creek, CA.
