Senior Associate / Director of Operations
Colin Alley, AIA, is a Senior Associate at BCV and serves as the firm's Director of Operations. He first joined BCV in April 1999. During his tenure, Mr. Alley has been instrumental in both streamlining the business operations of the practice, and in fostering the firm’s urban design presence, managing projects ranging in scope from specific plans to large-scale mixed-use commercial developments. Mr. Alley enjoys developing a strong interactive rapport with clients and believes that this collaborative approach leads to the most successful projects.
At BCV, Mr. Alley has been responsible for managing projects across a spectrum of retail, mixed-use, and urban design, including: the Plaza Escuela Special Study for the City of Walnut Creek, CA, the Paseo Colorado Retail Tenant Criteria Manual/Design Guidelines for Trizec Hahn Properties in Pasadena, CA, Market Square (the Twitter Building) Public Spaces in San Francisco, CA, as well as precise plan studies for the cities of San Ramon, CA, Walnut Creek, CA, and Napa, CA.
