Whether hosting collaborative dinners with Chez Panisse or elegant pairings for winery guests, the artful combination of great food and wine has always been integral to the history of Joseph Phelps Vineyards. An important aspect of our renovation of the original winery building was the design of new kitchen and dining areas that would support the expansion of its culinary offerings over time. We're very excited at the recent announcement of the Joseph Phelps Culinary Program, led by Executive Chef Brian Sutton and Sous Chefs Ryan Seal and Allie Phelps, daughter of Executive Chairman Bill Phelps and granddaughter of winery founder Joe Phelps.

The new culinary program will provide visitors with an opportunity to enjoy seasonal cuisine paired with the latest Joseph Phelps wine releases, overlooking the winery's Spring Valley vineyards. The program includes three distinct experiences:

The Wine & Cheese Pairing, which explores how local and regional cheeses pair and contrast with Joseph Phelps wines; Playful Plates, an interactive food and wine pairing featuring Napa and Sonoma Coast vintages and seasonally-inspired bites; and "the ultimate culinary journey," a multi-course Bountiful Table lunch.
