NEIL HOYT, LEED AP

Associate / Studio Director, New York

Neil Hoyt joined BCV Architecture + Interiors in 2013, and he has since played an integral role in the design and management of various commercial, residential, and planning projects. In 2015, Neil opened BCV’s New York office, its first remote location, where he currently serves as Studio Director. There, he oversees operations for a growing team while developing a diverse array of projects throughout the country.

From city-scale developments to custom homes and hospitality projects, Neil is driven by all types of design challenges, particularly those at the intersection of differing typologies. As a team leader, he is an adept communicator and engaging collaborator, and as a strong proponent of traditional design principles, he delights in realizing projects that are both refreshingly new and soundly familiar.

Neil holds architecture and urbanism degrees from the University of Notre Dame, where he also served as Professor of the Practice, teaching foundational design courses on the pursuit of timeless, context-driven architecture. Prior to joining BCV, he also worked professionally in Chicago and London, where he collaborated on residential and academic projects.
